Izvleček:The present research work had the objective of analyzing academic stress in students of the Psychopedagogy Career at the National University of Chimborazo, during the development of this research, data were collected to explore the dimensions of the SISCO inventory in students. The research was supported by primary sources and was carried out with criteria according to reality, from the methodological point of view, a quantitative approach was used, implementing psychometric techniques to obtain measurable and objective data, on the other hand the research design was non-experimental, basic and with a descriptive level, the study population consisted of students of the Psychopedagogy Career in its eight semesters, consisting of a total of 279 students, of which 60 were male and 219 female. The psychotechnical instrument used was the SISCO psychological inventory of academic stress, which consists of three dimensions. The data were interpreted through the techniques suggested by the approach and processed using the Microsoft Excel program. Tables and graphs were elaborated to analyze each question of the psychological inventory, thus obtaining results from those evaluated. The results indicate that most students moderately present the stressors that generate academic stress, as well as the symptoms of the stressors.
