總結:The objective of the research is to identify the teaching strategies used in the learning process for History in the BGU (Unified General High School) at Unidad Educativa "Monseñor Leónidas Proaño" during the 2023-2024 academic year. The methodology was predominantly analytical, and a non-experimental design. For data collection, a survey was conducted with students from BGU groups "A" and "B," and an interview was carried out with Social Studies teachers who teach History at this level. Throughout the research, the importance of understanding the proper use of teaching strategies in the History teaching-learning process has been highlighted, as well as the necessary steps for each strategy’s effective implementation at the high school level. This knowledge is crucial to ensure an effective educational process that promotes meaningful learning among students. By identifying and analyzing the strategies used, along with their corresponding procedures, teachers can assess their effectiveness in the appropriate development of the subject's content
