| Sumario: | ABSTRACT The World Health Organization proclaims Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases as pathologies that remain throughout life and are not transmitted. Data from the World and Pan American Health Organization until 2016 in America, identify these diseases as the cause of 5.5 million deaths per year, with 80.7% of deaths under 70 years of age. The objective of the research was to determine the nursing interventions in CNDs according to morbidity by cause in adults treated in Health Centers of the Chambo-Riobamba District during the period January-December 2019. A descriptive, quantitative and cross-sectional study was developed using methods theoretical (analytical-synthetic, historical-logical) and empirical method the PRASS Platform of the MSP of Ecuador, taking the variables age, sex, ethnic selfidentification, nationality and chronic diseases reason of study. The data were analyzed and processed in the statistical program SPSS version 27 using absolute and relative frequency distribution. Primary hypertension discovers the main cause of morbidity (56.92%), being the 65-80 year-old range the most affected. Men lead with 57.80% and women in T-2 DM without complication (17.30%), in this disease the age group that prevails is 50 to 64 years (43.06% men and 42, 57% women). Nursing interventions emphasize the pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of these two pathologies. The most frequent NCDs in the district are primary hypertension, uncomplicated T-2 DM, hypothyroidism and epilepsy. Keywords: chronic disease, morbidity, nursing care.
