Técnica de Preparación Biológicamente Orientada

ABSTRACT: The analysis of the Biologically Oriented Preparation Technique B.O.P.T. was carried out by means of a literature review of scientific articles in dentistry, published by indexed journals, aggregated through scientific databases such as Scopus, Embase and Web of Science, with a temporal scheme of 10 years, in a systematized manner, with methods of selection of studies; evaluating the quality of all the articles. This technique is minimally invasive with the dental structure, in addition, it maintains integral periodontal health. On the other hand, there is many case studies, obtaining positive results with healthy gingival tissues without complications. BOPT, besides being a preparation that follows specific steps, can be modified as needed to obtain more esthetic results in each area of the tooth. In addition, the conventional BOPT protocol involves a greater number of steps to be followed by the clinician and more time in the chair, unlike the digital protocols that are much faster.
