Περίληψη:The objective of the research is to develop a program of soccer ball conduction exercises to improve the concentration capacity of children in the fourth and fifth grades of EGB of the Autachi Educational Unit. The methodology used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design since the population was not randomly selected and a pretest and post-test were applied, the Trail Making Test (TMT) was used to measure attention before and after a 14- week intervention, which included ball driving exercises designed to promote technical and cognitive skills. The results showed that, after the intervention, the concentration levels of the intervention group improved significantly, progressing from low and medium to higher levels. In contrast, the control group did not show notable changes. Statistical analysis, using the Wilcoxon test, validated that the program had a positive impact on cognitive development. The discussion of the research highlights that activities such as ball handling not only improve technical skills, but also concentration, contributing to academic performance. It is concluded that the exercise program is an effective strategy for the children who carry it out, and it is recommended to promote similar programs, adapted to the specific characteristics of rural contexts.
