Descripció
Sumari:This research focused on analyzing the study of the content broadcast by Educa TV during the pandemic from March to September 2020. Educa TV, aimed at children and adolescents, dynamically adapted its content to address topics such as health prevention, emotional education, science, and culture, combining entertainment and learning. The methodology employed was qualitative and was based on the theory of Communication for Development, which frames this analysis, highlighting the role of communication in social development by ensuring access to education during the crisis. Additionally, the Uses and Gratifications theory helps to understand how the audience perceived the usefulness and relevance of the programs broadcast. Television emerged as a key mass communication tool during the pandemic, ensuring access to educational content in households with limited internet connectivity. Educa TV demonstrated how a television program can adapt to fulfill an inclusive and pedagogical function. A total of 66 programs were evaluated, and experts in communication and education were interviewed, revealing how Educa TV effectively responded to learning and inclusion needs. The results underscore the importance of this program in promoting values such as creativity, empathy, and critical thinking while culturally connecting with its audience.
