| Summary: | This research project had as purpose determining the attention deficit and its relationship with the self-esteem of the students of the third baccalaureate of the Educational Unit "Riobamba" According to the study, it is known that attention deficit is related to skills and abilities, this means that, there is a deficit when a person cannot perform a certain action or a group of actions due to the level of self-esteem they possess. The methodology was a non-experimental, cross-sectional design, because the research was carried out in a given time, for this study a population of 58 students was applied, 5 men and 53 women that corresponded to the third year of the baccalaureate of the parallels, G and J of the aforementioned institution, the sample was not probabilistic and intentional, the techniques for the data collection were applied through the test application psychometric; taking into account the use of instruments such as the attention test d2 (used to determine the factors of attention deficit) and the application of the Rosenberg scale (used to measure self-esteem levels) As a result of this research, it determined the attention deficit is related to the low level of self-esteem that students present when carrying out their activities. |
