| Čoahkkáigeassu: | The main objective of this research study was to develop a didactic guide using Geogebra as a tool for understanding the application of definite integrals. Nowadays it is a great challenge for students to generate motivation for mathematics, however, now there are technological tools that help understanding and resolution in different topics. In this sense, the methodology used in this study was a quantitative approach with a non-experimental design of descriptive-propositive scope, the study subjects were taken as students of mathematics and physics at UNACH, specifically those who are studying in the fifth, sixth and seventh semester. The participants responded to two instruments for data collection: an objective test and a survey. By means of the objective test it was verified that more than 60% of students present problems to solve exercises of definite integrals; while, by means of the survey, it was observed that more than 70% of respondents considered important the use of GeoGebra software for a better understanding of the subject matter. As a conclusion, it was determined that most students need a guide to support self-learning and accompaniment in terms of definite integrals and with this to be able to develop exercises that strengthen their knowledge, so that it was possible to build a guide that allows students to maintain self-learning. |
