Shrnutí:The objective of this research is to compare the level of creative thinking among the students of Psychopedagogy and Graphic Design at the National University of Chimborazo. It is known that within university education is vital to generate strategies that allow improving creativity, imagination and curiosity in students because this will enable them to develop creative thinking that will facilitate proper and correct decision- making. From a methodological perspective, a non-experimental, basic, transversal and field design was used. The population includes 68 students from the 7th and 8th semesters of the Educational Psychology career, as well as 32 students from the Graphic Design career. Its sampling was non-probabilistic and intentional; the technique that was used was the psychometric instrument and the Creativity Assessment Packet questionnaire (CAP; William, 2003) which allowed collecting, analyzing and interpreting the data, thus reaching the conclusion that Through a comparative study of creative thinking it was established , that Graphic Design students have a medium-high level with respect to creative thinking since they act spontaneously in a fluid manner, they do not adhere to the rules easily, while Psychopedagogy students have a medium level, they do not have the ability to adapt to changing environments. In the divergent sentiment, graphic design and psychopedagogy students have a high average level, they have the ability to express their emotions by creativity.
