Description
Summary:ABSTRACT: This study was carried out to determine how training and development affect the performance of human talent in the Hidalgo Warehouses in the city of Riobamba. The study population and sample comprised 15 employees and administrative staff working in different areas. The technique used for data collection was the survey, which consisted of a 12-item questionnaire for the two variables, designed with the Likert scale with four levels of responses. In both cases, the Training and Development variable consisted of 6 items, as did the Human Talent Performance variable, with four categories and dimensions for each. The study was based on a quantitative approach with a non-experimental design. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test determined the variables' normality, obtaining that both variables do not follow a normal distribution. The chi-square test showed an association between the variables (p≤0.05). The reliability analysis yielded a Cronbach's Alpha for the motivation and organizational climate variables (0.934) and the business growth variable (0.889). To conclude, employees must satisfy specific basic needs to achieve the desired goal, so the company should emphasize the implementation and evaluation of strategies that improve employees' motivation and organizational climate to bring the company's growth to higher levels. Keywords: Performance, Training, Human talent.
