Zusammenfassung:The main objective of this research work was to design a didactic guide of painting techniques for the development of artistic expression of high school students of the Specialized Educational Unit Carlos Garbay Montesdeoca in the period April - August 2023, which served to exercise and improve the concentration of students with disabilities of the institution mentioned, in addition to this proposal shows the different painting techniques, thus helping to build confidence among students with unique abilities. It is based on the theoretical framework of types of didactic guides with artistic contribution, a brief explanation of the types of disabilities and their classification, and articles on the duties and rights of people with disabilities. Regarding the methodological framework, the study presents a qualitativequantitative approach enriched in the positivism and post-positivism paradigms. An interview was conducted with the institution's director based on a semi-structured interview guide of five questions, and a survey was also applied to five teachers to obtain results on the work done by the institution in the artistic area. Also, the subjective and objective opinions of those involved could be known. The results showed that the teachers of Cultural and Artistic Education need more training in painting techniques and the lack of adequate spaces to carry out artistic projects. In the proposal of the didactic guide titled Kuyaywan Yachakushun (Teaching with Love), the different painting techniques for high school adolescents are presented, which has several work options to be able to share with students with disabilities; besides, each activity will also depend on the type of condition of the students, this is emphasized because each person is a different world which makes that with specific capabilities the practice of painting is understood differently.
