Özet:ABSTRACT The research was developed as a bibliographic review, with the objective of studying the most updated information on the effectiveness of respiratory physiotherapy in patients with acute bronchiolitis, with the use of respiratory exercise techniques, thus improving the patients' quality of life. In this study 100 scientific articles were found, which were discarded or accepted under the evaluation and exclusion criteria based on the PEDro scale consequently 35 articles were considered with greater validity and scientific rigor through the flowchart, Therefore, it has achieved a rating of more than 6 points evaluated by the PEDro scale. The original articles are available in English, Portuguese, French and Spanish, information from these studies may help this study to confirm the effectiveness of respiratory physiotherapy in patients with acute bronchiolitis. The databases used to obtain the information for this study are Latindex, PubMed, Scielo, Lilacs, European Respiratory Journal and the virtual library of the University Knowledge data base. Since there is a limited number of topics corresponding to respiratory physiotherapy in the literature, the articles were collected from 2005 to 2020. At the end of this research project and after the authors' discussion, the effectiveness of respiratory physiotherapy can be verified through different techniques and breathing exercises. These breathing techniques and exercises can help to significantly reduce the symptoms of bronchiolitis caused mainly by RSV respiratory syncytial virus, thus improving the patient's lifestyle. Key words: Acute bronchiolitis, Respiratory Therapy, Breathing Exercises.Reviewed by: MsC. Edison Damian Escudero ENGLISH PROFESSOR C.C.0601890593
