| description | ABSTRACT The research was developed as a bibliographic review, with the objective of studying the most updated information on the effectiveness of respiratory physiotherapy in patients with acute bronchiolitis, with the use of respiratory exercise techniques, thus improving the patients' quality of life. In this study 100 scientific articles were found, which were discarded or accepted under the evaluation and exclusion criteria based on the PEDro scale consequently 35 articles were considered with greater validity and scientific rigor through the flowchart, Therefore, it has achieved a rating of more than 6 points evaluated by the PEDro scale. The original articles are available in English, Portuguese, French and Spanish, information from these studies may help this study to confirm the effectiveness of respiratory physiotherapy in patients with acute bronchiolitis. The databases used to obtain the information for this study are Latindex, PubMed, Scielo, Lilacs, European Respiratory Journal and the virtual library of the University Knowledge data base. Since there is a limited number of topics corresponding to respiratory physiotherapy in the literature, the articles were collected from 2005 to 2020. At the end of this research project and after the authors' discussion, the effectiveness of respiratory physiotherapy can be verified through different techniques and breathing exercises. These breathing techniques and exercises can help to significantly reduce the symptoms of bronchiolitis caused mainly by RSV respiratory syncytial virus, thus improving the patient's lifestyle. Edison Damian Escudero ENGLISH PROFESSOR C.C.0601890593RESUMEN La investigación fue desarrollada en forma de revisión bibliográfica, con el objetivo de estudiar la información más actualizada sobre la efectividad de la fisioterapia respiratoria en pacientes con bronquiolitis aguda, con la utilización de técnicas de ejercicios respiratorios, mejorando así la calidad de vida de los pacientes. En el estudio se encontraron 100 artículos científicos, los cuales fueron descartados o aceptados bajo los criterios de evaluación y exclusión basados en la escala PEDro y se consideraron 35 artículos con mayor validez y rigor científico a través del diagrama de flujo, cumpliendo así con una valoración mayor a 6 puntos evaluados por la escala PEDro, los artículos originales se encuentran en idiomas como inglés, portugués, francés y español, la información de estos estudios puede ayudar a este estudio a confirmar la efectividad de la fisioterapia respiratoria Pacientes con bronquiolitis aguda. Las bases de datos utilizadas para obtener la información de este estudio son Latindex, PubMed, Scielo, Lilacs, European Respiratory Journal y la biblioteca virtual de la Base de Conocimiento Universitaria. Debido a la escasez de temas correspondientes a fisioterapia respiratoria en la bibliografía, los artículos recopilados son de 2005 a 2020. Concluyendo el proyecto de investigación tras la discusión de los autores, se puede verificar la efectividad de la fisioterapia respiratoria a través de diferentes técnicas y ejercicios de respiración.
