| 總結: | The present study called "Influence of behavior modification techniques in the behavioral reaction of the pediatric pediatric patient" was carried out under a quantitative observational design of descriptive cross-sectional type, with an analysis sample of 300 medical records belonging to a dental center specialized in pediatric dentistry in the city of Riobamba - Ecuador, the general objective of the study was to analyze the influence on the behavioral reaction of the pediatric patient before the application of different behavior modification techniques. The variable corresponding to the behavioral reaction was determined in reference to the Frankl scale, determining positive and negative behaviors by the patients, the latter being predominant in the different dental treatments applied (endodontics, exodontics and restorations), modification techniques of the behavior that could be evidenced were: Saying - Showing - Doing, Distraction, Modeling and Voice Control, the former being the most used in both behavioral reactions, however the latter was also frequently used in patients with a negative behavioral reaction. The statistical analysis applied by means of Pearson's Chi-square test, determined that there was a direct association at a level of P-value ≤ 0.05, which determined that behavior modification techniques were applied by the specialist in relationship with the behavioral reactions presented by the patients. |
