| সংক্ষিপ্ত: | The present research project proposes to rescue the intangible cultural heritage of Flores Parish through myths, legends and traditions. Flores Parish is a parish that belongs to the province of Chimborazo, Riobamba canton, which keeps several events that are worth rescuing. This research project was initiated with the sole purpose of rescuing certain cultural manifestations that in the past were of vital importance and nowadays have been disappearing little by little. In order to collect the information, the open interview technique was used, endorsing such information in various registration forms of the National Institute of Intangible Cultural Heritage (INPC), obtaining as a result a total of 19 manifestations among myths, legends and traditions, such knowledge has been related to nature and the human being. An insight into the events that took place in the parish was obtained, where it was possible to know about some myths and legends such as: Chuzalongo, Tulabug hill, Debate between hills, giant Pailas and Stones and fortresses. As well as some traditions: History of Flores Parish, History of Caliata, Carnival, Religion, Feast of the Three Kings, Feast of Parish, Labor Day, Feast of Souls, Baptism, Canticle of harvest, Song of construction, Burning of puppets, funeral acts and traditional medicine. Different interviews were conducted with some residents of the Flores Parish trying to obtain information about the research topic, mostly the people who collaborated with us were elderly people who relived the past with the help of several stories told by their parents and grandparents who were part of that time |
