Περίληψη:This paper addresses the importance of mathematics, a fundamental discipline in various fields. Recognizing the complexity that its learning may present, the study aims to determine the use of the educational software GeoGebra in teaching triangles to eighthgrade students at the "Autachi" Educational Unit. The research follows a quantitative approach, with a descriptive level and field modality, with the population consisting of 10 eighth-grade students from the mentioned institution. Through surveys with students and literature review, the effectiveness of GeoGebra as a pedagogical tool is explored, based on the positive results that educational software has demonstrated in mathematics teaching. The findings reveal a low level of GeoGebra usage, despite 70% of the students preferring technological tools over traditional methods. 80% believe that a GeoGebra manual would facilitate their learning. The research identifies the potential of the software to enhance the understanding of geometric concepts and increase interest in the subject. As a key contribution, a teaching manual for using GeoGebra in the instruction of triangles is developed, designed to ease the integration of this tool into the classroom. The recommendations include the implementation of the manual, teacher training in GeoGebra, and the continuous evaluation of its effectiveness. The importance of adapting pedagogical practices to incorporate technological tools that meet current learning needs and prepare students to apply mathematics in real-world contexts is emphasized. This study contributes to the field of mathematics education by providing evidence of the effectiveness of GeoGebra and offering a practical solution for its implementation, with the goal of improving the teaching of a discipline essential for the comprehensive development of students.
