Desarrollo de paletas cromáticas con base a fotografías de los paisajes de la provincia de Chimborazo

Currently, most visual artists have conception problems about the meaning of color, so the research shows the process of creating color palettes based on photographs of landscapes, to develop the visual identity of the province of Chimborazo. Addressing the main problem, research instruments are applied, in addition information is extracted from primary and secondary sources that serve to obtain specific data for the development of the final graphic proposal based on color palettes. A type of descriptive/explanatory research with a mixed approach is defined according to the research requirements. For this reason, information has been compiled on the color palettes which are supported by specific photographs and in this way describe all its main components of reality and try to find the relationship and specific functioning within the visual world. Therefore, based on the theoretical and practical background, it can be deduced that the processes for obtaining color palettes are very limited since palettes from the province of Chimborazo are not specifically obtained to apply within digital or printed media with a specific color code. For this, a catalog of color palettes is proposed based on photographs of the landscapes of the province of Chimborazo in which a variety of colors typical of the place can be evidenced, so it is convenient to highlight the importance of this project to generate identity to through the proposed chromatic innovation allowing a personalized design typology
