During the course of the research, surveys were carried out in five tinsmith workshops in Riobamba. Once the responses were collected, we proceeded to carry out a statistical analysis with the objective of verifying the reliability of the alternative hypothesis (H1), which states that "The production systems of tinsmith crafts influence fair trade in Riobamba". At the conclusion of our research, it is revealed that the current situation of the tinsmithing production systems is in an advanced stage, close to its possible extinction. Currently, these systems are being replaced by substitute materials that can be purchased at a lower price. This phenomenon highlights the urgent need to improve the connection with customers and enrich the shopping experience. It is crucial to implement a production model considering the cultural and economic importance they have. |

It is crucial to implement a production model considering the cultural and economic importance they have.RESUMEN: La presente investigación, titulada "Los Sistemas Productivos de Artesanías de Hojalatería y el Comercio Justo en Riobamba", se llevó a cabo mediante el uso de diversas metodologías, como la de campo, descriptiva y explicativa, todas ellas adecuadas para su desarrollo. En el transcurso de la investigación, se llevaron a cabo encuestas en cinco talleres de artesanías de hojalatería en Riobamba. Una vez recopiladas las respuestas, se procedió a realizar un análisis estadístico con el objetivo de verificar la fiabilidad de la hipótesis alternativa (H1), la cual afirma que "Los sistemas productivos de artesanías de hojalatería influyen en el comercio justo en Riobamba". Al concluir nuestra investigación, se revela que la situación actual de los sistemas productivos de artesanías de hojalatería se encuentra en una fase avanzada, cercana a su posible extinción. Actualmente, estos sistemas están siendo reemplazados por materiales sustitutos que pueden ser adquiridos a un precio menor. Este fenómeno resalta la urgente necesidad de mejorar la conexión con los clientes y enriquecer la experiencia de compra.
