Označite | Izvleček: | The main objective of this research was to determine the benefits of breastfeeding for the integral development of children from 3 to 5 years of age at the Hispano-America Educational Unit. It is of great interest in the infant's life since breastfeeding provides nutrients and minerals and helps the infant's immune system. Integral development is crucial for children to reach their maximum potential and develop their cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skills. The methodology is bibliographic, a non-cross-sectional field with a mixed approach; the study sample consisted of 22 students. The techniques used for data collection were two instruments: an observation form applied to the students and a survey applied to the parents, which showed a lack of knowledge and misinformation on the subject under investigation. The conclusions and recommendations were elaborated as well as to verify the achievement of the proposed learning outcomes. After checking the results, it was considered to make a comparative infographic about exclusive and mixed breastfeeding; this will help the parents to know more about the subject and how this is detrimental to the integral development of their children. |
