Riesgos psicosociales y calidad de vida laboral en personal de salud. Hospital Básico N°.11 Galápagos. Riobamba, 2021.

ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to determine the psychosocial risks and quality of work-life of the health personnel of the Hospital Básico N°11 Galápagos Riobamba, 2021. The methodology used was a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional field study with a descriptive scope. The psychometric test has was applied as a data collection technique, and the FPSICO 4.0 and CVT-GOHISALO questionnaires were used as instruments. The study sample comprised 62 members of the Health area. As a result, it was evidenced that, concerning psychosocial risks, the dimensions of "Psychological Demands" and "Participation and Supervision" obtained the highest overall risk assessment. As for the quality of work-life, it was assessed as "medium," finding the 73% of staff perceive a "high" level of "Safety at work." On the other hand, 68% manage a "low" level of "Management of free time." Furthermore, there is predominantly a "medium" level of evaluation in at least 40% of the personnel in the different dimensions. Based on the results obtained, it is concluded that the quality of work-life and exposure to psychosocial risk in the research environment is not adequate. Therefore, a proposal was designed for a preventive action plan aimed at improving the well-being and health of the workers of the Health Institution through the mitigation of the psychosocial risks identified.
