الملخص:ABSTRACT: The main objective of this study is to analyze how the media can affect judicial decisions in gender cases and to raise awareness about the importance of a fair and impartial trial independent of media pressure. However, to carry out this study, a bibliographical review was carried out, and judicial processes from Latin American countries and one Ecuadorian one were analyzed. The results indicated that media pressure can negatively affect the impartiality and objectivity of judicial decisions in gender cases. In addition, it was concluded that traditional and digital media significantly influence public opinion and society's perception of various issues. Finally, implementing measures to guarantee a fair and impartial trial, independent of media pressure, is recommended. These measures may include the training of judges and journalists on the importance of impartiality in gender cases, the creation of protocols for handling information in these cases, and the promotion of a culture of respect and tolerance towards gender diversity.
