| Тойм: | The teaching-learning process must go hand in hand with technological evolution to maintain students' motivation and interest; education must be more interactive and less traditional, specifically in English language classes, which is necessary for an institution of the educational circuit. In order to solve this problem, the objective is to propose learning based on challenges through Breakout EDU for the development of linguistic skills: reading and writing in the English language of 9th BGE students. The research is quantitative, descriptive, bibliographic, cross-sectional, and quasi-experimental of applied type; the hypothetical-deductive method was used. Subsequently, the application was developed using the RPG Maker MV software, which was used to program, compile and test the instrument, for which the 6D methodology of Dan Hunter and Kevin Werbach was chosen. Then the T - student technique was used; in order to develop it, the students were divided into a control group and an experimental group, taking into account that the control group was given a master class and the experimental group was given the Breakout EDU. An evaluation based on the LISREW technique was used to determine the difference between the development of the linguistic skills: reading and writing of both groups. As a result of the research, the challenge-based learning: Breakout EDU was implemented as a didactic methodology, which allowed the linguistic skills: reading and writing in the English language of 9th BGE students to improve positively. |
