| Shrnutí: | The present research deals with the study of the role played by the family in the development of self-esteem in children of the "Crear" Educational Unit, in the second level of kindergarten. The topic highlights the importance of self-esteem from an early age, since it is evident that in the child population it has not been a priority component for families, causing havoc in the integral formation and personality of children. From the contemplative point of view, the family is not given in a concrete model, but varies according to the interests of each individual, making it the fundamental pillar of education and development in all areas of early childhood, while personal appreciation consists of the individual's recognition of himself, valuing his virtues and accepting his defects as long as they do not invade the limit of respect and love for himself. Methodologically, it becomes a basic research with a qualitative approach, a non-experimental design; due to the level and scope of the documentary and descriptive research. Likewise, the techniques used were: the survey and the interview, with their corresponding instruments: the questionnaire and the questionnaire form. On the other hand, the results of the level of self-acceptance in early childhood reflect that there are shortcomings in the construction of interpersonal relationships between family members and the child, due to inadequate attitudes or behaviors that are difficult to understand for children at the age of 4 and 5 years, since they have not yet fully matured emotionally and their self-image can be affected, causing negative thoughts about themselves and interfering in their integral development. |
