Summary:The research objective was to analyze parenting styles and emotional dependence in the personnel of the HISPANOROSES company. The methodology applied was a quantitative approach, bibliographic and field type, with a cross-sectional design and descriptive level. The study population consisted of 70 subjects from the company's personnel. The following instruments were applied: Parental Styles and Perceived Inconsistency Scale (EPIPP) and the Emotional Dependence Questionnaire (CDE). The results of the most relevant parenting styles were the authoritarian style with 37.1% and the overprotective one with 27.1% in the father. Also, the study showed that the authoritarian style; was evidenced in the mother with 41.4 %% and the overprotective one with 34.3%. Whit regard to emotional dependence, it showed that 40% present a medium level, 31.4% high level and 28.6 low level. On the other hand, the predominant factors of emotional dependence are separation anxiety and modification of plans. Consequently, the high and medium level of emotional dependency is a problem present in the personnel of the HISPANOROSES company derived from the authoritarian and overprotective styles received during childhood.
