| الملخص: | The general objective of the study was to determine the effectiveness of dental disinfectants in gutta-percha cones in the UNACH Comprehensive Dental Unit. Microbiological analysis of 45 cones took place in each desinfection system that was exposed to the environment, which were divided into four groups. First control group, second group under 5.25% sodium hypochlorite in 1 and 2 minutes, third group 70% ethyl alcohol in 1 and 2 minutes and fourth group 2% chlorhexidine in 1 and 2 minutes, sowing was performed in Blood Agar where Gram-positive cocci, Gram-negative bacilli and fungi were identified with the GRAM staining after seeded in Salted Mannitol agars for Gram-positive coconuts, MacConkey for Gram- negative bacilli and Sabouraud for fungi, the results identified the growth of: 25 Gram-positive coconut samples, 9 of them from Staphylococcus aureus and 7 Staphyloccoccus spp, 46 Gram-negative bacilli of them 2 Escherichia coli, and 24 fungi. The research was correlational, comparative, quasi-experimental and quantitative. The observation technique and the logbook were used; the data were processed in the SPSS program. They are showing that there are statistically significant differences. When applying disinfectants with time intervals in the gutta-percha cones. The ANOVA statistical significance value was> at 0.05 (p = 0.400) coconuts, (p = 0.921) bacilli and (p = 0.358) fungi, where the conclusion is that the most effective disinfectant is alcohol and chlorhexidine at all CFU / ml concentrations and times. |
