要約:Educational challenges have been increasing consecutively due to the lack of innovative resources, resulting from economic and technological constraints, which hinders the possibility of diversifying teaching beyond the traditional academic approach. In response to this situation, there is a need to integrate digital learning resources that encourage a more participatory, visual, and interactive teaching process. Therefore, the purpose of this research was “to propose the digital album Columna de Vida as a didactic resource to facilitate the teaching–learning process in Animal Biology for fourth-semester students of the Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences, Chemistry, and Biology program.” This study employed a quantitative approach with a non-experimental and descriptive design aimed at basic research purposes, supported by bibliographic and field methods based on inductive reasoning. Data collection was conducted through a structured survey composed of ten closed-ended questions, administered to 22 fourth-semester students, who evaluated the influence of the digital album as a pedagogical resource. The findings indicated that the digital resource enabled students to easily access the contents of Units III and IV, as well as to interact with the activities, videos, curiosities, and graphic organizers included in the digital album in order to enhance the dynamism of the teaching–learning process.
