“Las políticas públicas en el ambito económico y su impacto en la distribución de la riqueza en el Ecuador durante el período 2000-2016”

The objective of this research is to determine the main public economic policies applied in Ecuador by the different governments that have been in charge of the country, and how they have impacted on the distribution of wealth. This research is divided into four chapters, such as the frame of reference, theoretical framework, methodological framework, conclusions and recommendations, divided into themes and subtopics. The first chapter corresponds to what is the Referential Framework, which is the problem statement, problem formulation, general objective and specific objectives, and the justification and importance of the research developed, which is constituted in the main scheme By which the research is aimed. The second chapter refers to the Theoretical Framework, which develops themes and sub-themes such as public policies, economic policies, wealth distribution, and the type of study in which this research is done. In the third chapter: Methodological Framework, this unit covers the method, type and techniques to be followed for the proper management of the information obtained, the determination of the population and sample, and in turn the verification of the hypothesis raised. In addition, by applying an econometric model, the relationship between GDP per capita and the Gini coefficient was determined.
