Tendinopathy is the set of pathologies that affect tendinous structures (tendon) and Intratissue Percutaneous Electrolysis is an invasive technique that applies a galvanic current through an acupuncture needle, producing a chemical reaction that causes localized inflammation in the tendon and thus tissue regeneration. The research is of documentary design, cross-sectional, with a mixed approach that uses the bibliographic review for the collection of information and the PEDro scale for the analysis of the scientific content of the articles collected. It is determined that 87% of the articles achieved a good methodological rating, while 13% obtained an excellent rating. It was stated that the application of the Intratissue Percutaneous Electrolysis technique as a physiotherapeutic treatment for tendinopathies is the most effective with respect to other therapeutic treatments since it achieves a rapid regeneration of the tendon injury, they have a significant improvement when applying the treatment of the EPI, the recovery time varies due to the severity of the injury presented by the patients; it tends to ensure a more rapid reduction in pain in a short period of time and patients show substantial improvement. The articles were extracted from the databases of: PubMed, Scielo, Elsevier, Google Scholar, PEDro, Dialnet, ResearchGate, SAGE Journals, MVClinic and BMJ Open. La tendinopatía es el conjunto de patologías que afectan las estructuras tendinosas (tendón) y la Electrólisis Percutánea Intratisular es una técnica invasiva que aplica una corriente galvánica a través de una aguja de acupuntura produciendo una reacción química que provoca en el tendón una inflamación localizada y así la regeneración tisular. La investigación es de diseño documental, de tipo transversal, con enfoque mixto que utiliza la revisión bibliográfica para la recolección de la información y la escala de PEDro para el análisis del contenido científico de los artículos recopilados. Se determina que el 87% de los artículos alcanzaron una calificación metodológica buena, mientras que el 13% obtuvieron una valoración excelente. Se expuso que la aplicación de la técnica de Electrólisis Percutánea Intratisular como tratamiento fisioterapéutico para tendinopatías es la más efectiva con respecto a los demás tratamientos terapéuticos ya que logra una regeneración rápida de la lesión del tendón, tienen una mejoría significativa al aplicarse el tratamiento de la EPI, varía el tiempo de recuperación debido a la gravedad de la lesión que presentan los pacientes; tiende asegurar una reducción más rápida del dolor en un periodo corto de tiempo y los pacientes muestran una mejora sustancial.
