Özet:ABSTRACT: Today, companies are continually looking for opportunities to improve their processes and thus be able to ofter quality products and therefore be more competitive in the market. The company Molinos San José located in the Industrial park of Ambato city; it is company dedicated to the production of type A bran. San Jose company is aware of the current situación of its processes. It sees in standardization a way to control their internal processes related to production, raise and document the information, and be able to predict the result of the work, minimizing errors, guaranteeing thet each operation and management are carried out homogeneously on the production line. This research’s main objective is to standardize the production processes in the line of type A bran to improve production. For this analysis, methods such as direct observation, time taking was performed. It also applies Westinghouse method calculation to determine the standard time; critical control points analysis was performed, a procedure manual for the processes of the production line of bran type A, to serve as a guide for the different operations carried out. The proposal was made to optimize the workforce to improve production rates, obtaining an increase in production from 157,5 tons (before standardization) to 160 tons (after normalization) of the final product per week of the final product, taking a standard time 9 minutes and 51 seconds for each 45 kilogram bag. In this way, it was posible to demostrate through T-Student calculation that the standardization of the processes does affect productivity.
