EL LEGADO HISTÓRICO DE JAIME ROLDÓS AGUILERA, VISTO DESDE LA VISIÓN DE LA PRENSA LOCAL DE RIOBAMBA.

The research´s objective was to analyze the historical legacy of Jaime Roldós Aguilera seen from the vision of the local dam of Riobamba, to assess his ideological thinking in today's society, which has been distorted by events and changes in the politics, the forgetfulness and disinterest of the new generations on the legacy that you leave us illustrious characters and event that changes the history of a country or nation. The current society has a different vision to how the information was addressed before, therefore, it is taken to the local press of Riobamba for the study of Jaime Roldós, where the way of approaching the information will be established both internal and external political aspects that will be analyzed from the perspective of the local press as is the newspaper El Espectador from Riobamba that has played an important role in the communicative phenomenon, addressing the different relevant facts of the city, where the written press is denoted as objective and critical, in terms of news, cartoons, editorials. The research is qualitative with a historical design, which is related to Social Sciences where it will lead us to solve the problem, the technique used is the interview that was made to journalists to fill gaps, get to the discussion and put our conclusions by which will highlight the recommendations based on the results of the research based on the silver objectives and the activities carried out in the research.
