Beskrivelse
Summary:The research is based on the importance of Early Stimulation in children with psychomotor retardation, for which a bibliographic analysis of 30 studies was carried out, among which there are books, scientific articles, theses, etc., detailing the importance and the impact that it has been acquiring over time and the effects that actually can be seen, which, according to different authors and researches, is very helpful for children with milestones of normal development and consequently, the relevance in children with delayed psychomotor development is considered even more productive. Each development milestone of the child, will appear according to their age, when this does not happen or certain skills are acquired slowly or out of chronological age, it is considered a psychomotor delay. Although Early Stimulation is a worldwide practice, its field can be developed in a broader way, which is why several authors agree and advise it within the first 5 years of life, a stage in which full development of the brain plasticity is achieved and can be used for the child to develop satisfactorily, developing faster autonomy, intellectual potential and physical and social skills. KEY WORDS: delay, initial age, stimulation, development, psychomotor.
