El PHUBBING y las relaciones intrafamiliares en la Unidad Educativa Fernando Daquilema

The present research work titled: "PHUBBING AND INTRA-FAMILY RELATIONS AT UNIDAD EDUCATIVA FERNANDO DAQUILEMA" established as general objective: to determine the relationship between the Phubbing in the intra-family relations of the students of 3° UGB of "Fernando Daquilema" school in the city of Riobamba. Phubbing is the way to pay more attention to a device. It is possible to receive and send information. In Phubbing, people usually prefer to have a relationship among people who use that famous social network that can easily be found on the Internet; rather than a physical person with who can share a face-to-face relationship to establish a conversation (Maria, 2015), while intra-family relationships are the interconnections that occur among the members of each family. It includes the perception of the level of family unity, the family's style of dealing with problems or expressing emotions, managing the rules of living together, and adapting to changing situations. Methodologically it worked with the quantitative approach and the non-experimental design, the type of research was by the place of field, transversal, the level or scope, correlational, with a non-probabilistic and intentional sample established in 63 students. The Data Collection Instruments (DCI) were the Mobile Problem Use Scale (MPPUS) psychometric technique and the Intra- family Relationship Assessment Scale (IRA). The results showed that there is a group of students that present some problematic uses with the cell phone, such as the dependency and the permanent interaction with this technological means, which implies that the family relations are so limited, it is determined a direct relationship between the Phubbing and the problematic intra-family relations of the students of 3° UGB of "Fernando Daquilema" school of the city of Riobamba.
