Özet:The set of skills that an individual develops through the coordination of sensory perception and voluntary muscular response for the performance of a movement is considered as a psychomotor skill. The study was carried out with the objective of strengthening manual skills through psychomotor exercises for dental practice. The techniques used were observatory, the instruments is the test as an observation sheet and the Gibson spiral test respectively. This study was observational, field and explanatory the same was done in the city of Riobamba, at the National University of Chimborazo with students from "Clinica Integral" 1, II, III, IV, with a sample of 107 students. When applying Student's for independent samples, the homogeneity of variance could be assessed using the Levene test, where it was observed that with respect to the time of the test, there was a strong difference in the number of errors made, it was observed that men made more mistakes than women, this difference being statistically very significant. As a result, it was specified that it is necessary to promote, stimulate the development of motor skills in the students of integral clinic 1, II, III, IV, in order to strengthen their skills and knowledge, securing optimum performance in the clinical practice of the profession.
