Shrnutí: | This research called: "WEB 2.0 AND ITS INFLUENCE IN CULTURAL CHANGES IN TEENAGERS FROM EIGHTH YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION TO THIRD YEAR OF BACCALAUREATE DURING THE ACADEMIC PERIOD 2015-2016 IN “SAN FELIPE NERI” HIGH SCHOOL. In the First Chapter, the problem statement, a brief explanation of the origin of web 2.0 and the first generation (teenagers) that has grown with this platform were specified. The research objectives were developed; General objective: to discover the influence of web 2.0 in teenagers from eighth year of basic education to third year of baccalaureate of the UESFN in Riobamba city. Specific objectives: to identify the acceptance, to determine the effect and to evaluate the influence of Web 2.0 in the teenagers of the educative institution. They were presented the justification and importance of the topic which consisted in identifying the influence of the web 2.0 platform based on the functionalism and the anthropological theory. The Second Chapter covers the theoretical framework, where the scientific approaches to the various topics identified in the draft are exposed, they are: web 2.0, where definitions are given, the history, characteristics, scope and applications are exposed; Web 2.0 in teenagers, the tools, social networks and their use are presented; Cultural changes, the theoretical concepts based on sections of authors as Rincon and Castells were developed, the communicational approaches of cultural changes are explained, the history of “San Felipe Neri” High School is detailed including traditions, organization chart and finally a descriptive analysis of students in the educative institution. In the Third Chapter, it was presented the methodological process that addressed the development of the research; they were detailed the analysis and interpretation of the information reached in the field study through tables and statistical graphics, which were achieved by the application of surveys to the population (961 students), that was conducted in two phases, the first in November 2015 and the second in April 2016, in order to establish a comparison besides knowing if any change was generated during that period of time. In the Fourth Chapter, the conclusions are explained: The web 2.0 is accepted in teenagers generated by the use of ICT, which cause loss of contact with their immediate environment, disorder in adding besides the knowledge of new languages being so that they stop consuming information and become generators of them. Finally, the recommendations are established: to generate control by teachers and parents at the moment of using the web 2.0, fostering this platform in order to improve communication and the learning in teenagers. |
