Description
Summary:The influence of artistic gymnastics on girls aged 6 to 8 kinesthetic intelligence. This work aims to determine how artistic gymnastics influences kinesthetic intelligence, which is the ability to use the body and movement to solve problems and express oneself. It is based on the hypothesis that the training plan proposed in this work helps two of the physical abilities, such as flexibility and balance, since kinesthetic intelligence contributes to the integral development of multiple intelligences, being part of the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children, knowing that especially after the pandemic affected their motor development. In this context, it presents a propositional critical and field research, which seeks to determine the influence of artistic gymnastics on the kinesthetic intelligence of girls from 6 to 8 years old. The research uses a quantitative approach and an experimental design with a mixed cut. A 12-week intervention program based on flexibility and balance was applied to a sample of 10 girls who practice artistic gymnastics at the Fly Gym club in Riobamba. The bibliographic review was used as a research technique, and the sit-and-reach and flamenco tests were applied as evaluation instruments. The results showed a significant improvement in the girls' flexibility, balance, motor, and cognitive skills. Therefore, it is concluded that artistic gymnastics stimulates kinesthetic intelligence, and its practice is recommended from an early age.
