總結:The following research work consisted of a bibliographical review that aimed to establish the relationship between diabetes mellitus and the health of the stomatognathic apparatus,it was analyzed several publications of a period of no more than 10 years, the research, focused on deductive and inductive methods that were based on the search, choice and analysis of scientific articles published in indexed journals and conferences, published in sites such as PubMed, Redalyc among others, in this Work can be observed by means of tables structured by the author as it relates the diabetes mellitus and the principal pathologies and/or oral manifestations associated to it, a sample of 52 articles was established for it to more of the criteria of Inclusion and exclusion the ACC or average citation count was used, which is described in the methodology section, it allowed access to high scientific impact information, this review establishes what are the oral pathologies associated with diabetes With more recurrence, relevance and prevalence according to the articles analyzed, periodontal disease, xerostomia, caries, candidiasis, dental loss and EAR were highlighted in this review, it was found that diabetes leads to multiple Complications, among which the orals are highlighted, these are aggravated if the glycemic control is not adequate, so we can conclude that oral conditions in diabetes are inversely proportional to the glycemic control and follow-up given to the Disease.
