It depends on the type of management that tries to reuse spaces and equipment that became urban voids through time. The point to be discussed is the abandonment of the historic center. The lack of activities caused this situation. The idea is to densify this sector through urban architectural interventions, considering that the city has different needs. One of them has been the facilities, some of them lost for deterioration or because they have already completed their life cycle. Based on this, the way to intervene in these spaces was analyzed. Due to their abandonment, these places generate insecurity in the city. Based on the urban reading of the place, we arrive at several proposals of urban and architectural character, where the mystification of uses, treatment of public space, encourage new ventures, changing the traditional morphology to a live and inclusive one is taken into account. The architectural part consists of two proposals aimed at the cultural and educational role that complement the area's activities. The predominant role is commerce; the design of the interventions was from the urban analysis of the place. It is to provide equipment to handle flows of people in an extended schedule, propose a new use of land to the urban voids of the sector, and take advantage of the city centers. |
