Although techniques of Inspiratory Muscle Training (IMT) and Buteyko in children with bronchial asthma are not frequent within the priority group in study; due to the complexity of its clinical application, there were found 88 scientific articles that corroborate the effectiveness of both in this childhood respiratory disease. The articles that were chosen to demonstrate the benefits of the mentioned techniques were 27 scientific articles, which have a grade equal to or greater than 7, which are mostly in different languages, like English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Databases where most results were obtained, regard to the topic were: Pubmed, Elsevier, Scielo, Research Gate, Google Scholar, university repositories, high impact digital magazines, and Cochrane Library. There were recollected articles from the year 1998 until the present year 2019. The research project concludes that the effectiveness of Inspiratory Muscle Training (IMT) and Buteyko techniques are beneficial and novel techniques, although their application isn’t widespread in the pediatric population; due to the difficulty of understanding the maneuvers when working with the priority concerned group. It is recommended that for the use of these techniques the interrelation between children and physiotherapists for the correct handling of them. |

It is recommended that for the use of these techniques the interrelation between children and physiotherapists for the correct handling of them.El trabajo de investigación fue desarrollado en la modalidad Revisión Bibliográfica teniendo como objetivo principal demostrar el uso de nuevas técnicas a nivel pediátrico; como es el Entrenamiento Muscular Inspiratorio (IMT) y Buteyko con asma bronquial es de gran beneficio para mejorar su estilo de vida y continuar con las actividades de la vida diaria con normalidad sin limitaciones. A pesar que las técnicas Entrenamiento Muscular Inspiratorio (IMT) y Buteyko en niños con asma bronquial no son frecuentes dentro del grupo prioritario en estudio; por la complejidad de su aplicación clínica, aun así, se encontraron 88 artículos científicos que corroboran la efectividad de ambas en esta patología respiratoria infantil. Los artículos elegidos para demostrar los beneficios de las técnicas mencionadas son 27 artículos científicos; los mismos que presentan una calificación igual o mayor a 7, los cuales en su mayoría están en idiomas diferentes; como inglés, portugués y español. Las bases de datos donde se obtuvieron mayores resultados con respecto al tema son: Pubmed, Elsevier, Scielo, ResearchGate, google scholar, repositorios universitarios, revistas digitales de alto impacto y Cochrane Library. Se recolectó artículos del año 1998 hasta el presente año 2019. El proyecto de investigación concluye que la efectividad de las técnicas de Entrenamiento Muscular Inspiratorio (IMT) y Buteyko son técnicas beneficiosas y novedosas, aunque su aplicación no sea muy común en la población pediátrica; por la dificultad de comprensión de las maniobras cuando se trabaja con el grupo prioritario en cuestión.
