This research aims to analyze the sexual consequences of pornography consumption in adolescents and young adults through a transversal and descriptive bibliographic review using inductive-deductive, analyticalsystemic, and historical-logical methods. The researcher gathered information from databases such as PubMed, DOAJ, ProQuest, Scopus, and Scielo. A population of 180 scientific articles was selected and reduced to a sample of 70. These scientific articles were analyzed and evaluated based on their methodological quality through the evaluation instrument for the critical analysis of quantitative research (CRF-QS). The results demonstrate there is a high consumption of pornography from an early age. Consequently, it generates negative sexual consequences in men, such as risky behaviors, the tendency to consume substances, sexualization of contexts and people, and a predisposition to casual sex practices, among others.Similarly, adverse effects were evident among young women that affect self-esteem, reduce relationships, and increase masturbation preferences. However, women present favorable responses regarding the differentiation of content and their sexual development. For this reason, the researchers developed a psychoeducational program to promote sexual health. It was possible to address topics like sexuality, inadequate perception of pornography, and adverse effects of consumption. |

La pornografía constituye material audiovisual sexualmente explícito, que representa escenas sexuales que generan una estimulación y respuesta sexual. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo, analizar las consecuencias sexuales del consumo de pornografía en adolescentes y adultos jóvenes, por medio de una revisión bibliográfica de carácter transversal, descriptiva utilizando métodos inductivo-deductivos, analítico-sistémicos e histórico-lógicos. Los artículos científicos fueron recolectados en distintas bases de datos, como: PubMed, DOAJ, ProQuest, Scopus, Scielo, entre otras, de las que se seleccionó una población de 180, que se redujo a una muestra de 70, que fueron analizados y valorados en función de su calidad metodológica a través del instrumento de evaluación destinada al análisis crítico de investigaciones cuantitativas (CRF-QS). Los resultados determinan que existe un alto consumo de pornografía desde edades tempranas, lo cual genera consecuencias sexuales negativas, que se presentan principalmente en hombres, las cuales son: conductas de riesgo, tendencia al consumo de sustancias, sexualización de contextos y personas, predisposición a prácticas de sexo casual, entre otras. En mujeres jóvenes se evidenciaron efectos negativos que afectan la autoestima, reducen relaciones de pareja y aumenta la preferencia por la masturbación. Mientras que, las adolescentes presentan respuestas favorables, con respecto a la diferenciación del contenido y su desarrollo sexual.
