| Sažetak: | This research project addresses the design and implementation of an industrial process for the production of injection molds using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines in an academic environment. The objective was to establish a clear and documented process flow that contributes to the development of practical skills for programming and operating a vertical machining center. Initially, a technical evaluation of the machine was carried out, both before and after tuning, to determine its condition. This evaluation revealed that prior to tuning, the machine's condition was at 80%, and after tuning, it improved to 95%. Subsequently, the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology was applied, including criticality analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). This allowed for the identification of critical components to determine the type of maintenance to be applied based on the RCM decision tree. This process was based on standards such as SAE JA1011, SAE JA1012, ISO 14224, and UNE 16646. Finally, procedure manuals were developed for basic machining operations, simulation of machining processes in CAM programs, and handling and operation of the CNC machine. Additionally, within the activities to produce the injection mold for a plastic cup, considerations were made regarding the mold material type, the tools to be used, and the required equipment. |
