Gaia: | The main objective of this research is to design a didactic strategy for oral and written comprehension in students of the eighth year of EGB of the Educational Unit "Fe y Alegría" in the academic period 2022-2023.The focus of the research was quantitative, with a non-experimental design, the type of research was descriptive field, the population consisted of 26 eighth-grade students from the "Fe y Alegría" Educational Unit, so the same number of students was sampled. For data collection, observation and survey techniques were used, and the instruments applied were an observation sheet and a questionnaire, which allowed us to identify the level of oral and written comprehension of the students of the aforementioned Educational Unit. The results obtained show that in written comprehension most students need to improve and reinforce the levels of comprehension, which justifies the need to design the didactic strategy focused on self-reflection, which will allow the student to acquire knowledge through different techniques, will generate the acquisition of increasingly complex learning according to the criteria established by the teacher. This strategy will help the development of language as an instrument for oral and written communication both inside and outside the school environment, fulfilling the purpose of training individuals capable of relating to the outside world, sharing their knowledge, and strengthening their knowledge. |
