Riassunto:The objective of this was to identify the incidence of childhood with the use of the method. ICDAS and its relationship with the risk factors associated with children aged 3 to 5 years who attended the Educational Units “Isabel de Godín” and “Vigotsky”, fiscal and private establishments respectively. Method: After signing the informed consent, a non invasive ICDAS method was examined to 200 children from 3 to 5 years old, and to know the risk factors to which they were exposed, a survey of 9 questions was applied to the representative of the children. Results: the incidence of early childhood caries by study subject was higher in the fiscal school than in the private one. In addition, it was observed that the incidence and severity of caries in creases with age; the teeth were he maxillary and maxillary incisors. It was determined that there is a higher percentage of caries in females than in males and also the percentage that children who have parents have a monthly remuneration equal to the one that consumes a candy with a frecuency of 2 to 4 times a day, in regarding the initial feeding, it was found that there was a higher incidence of caries in patients who consumed bottle and formula. Conclusion: ICDAS (Do, D1-2, D3-4 and D5-6), and the risk factors: diet and socioeconomic level.
