Резюме: | ABSTRACT The research was elaborated under the modality of a bibliographic review, in which its main objective was to know and expose the benefits of physical activity (PA) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Physical activity is the ideal complement to pulmonary rehabilitation, prescribed by respiratory physiotherapy, which uses different techniques to adequately treat COPD. However, respiratory physiotherapy is poorly known in our environment, despite this there is a great variety of information, so 120 scientific articles were found, of which several of them were discarded, by means of the exclusion criteria and score through the PEDro scale, then we worked with 35 scientific articles which reached a score equal or greater than 7 in order to enrich the research, these articles are digitized in different languages such as English, Portuguese and Spanish, thus allowing to collect more information about the topic raised. For the collection of scientific articles different databases were used such as; NCBI, PudMed, Scielo, Elservier among others. These scientific articles were collected from 2003 to 2020. Finally, after discussion, taking into account the information presented by the different authors, it was concluded that PA does represent great benefits in COPD, even more so when it is a complement to pulmonary rehabilitation. Keywords; COPD, physical activity, pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory physiotherapy. Reviewed by: Lcda. Diana Chávez ENGLISH PROFESSOR c.c. 065003795-5 INTRODUCCIÓN. |
