| Čoahkkáigeassu: | This research aims to carry out a bibliographic analysis of the adsorption processes to eliminate pollutants applied in different types of rocky beds. The work was divided into three phases: the first focused on documentary observation through a bibliographic survey studying documents related to the subject in various bibliographic repositories of institutions or organizations existing on the web. The second analyzed the secondary data collected from experimental research applied to the subject, classifying it into two groups: elimination of anions and reducing cations. Finally, the third one, the adsorption processes applied to each other for both anionic and cationic pollutants, were compared, highlighting differences and similarities in each case, depending on the type of bed. The main results showed that the pH variable is significant since it influences the adsorption process significantly, being the alkaline pH values with better removal in cations and the acid pH values in anions. On the other hand, it was determined the efficiency Removal improvement when the size of the bed is decreased in all cases. It was confirmed that the most used adsorption mechanisms within the adsorption processes were the Langmuir Isotherm, Freundlich Isotherm, and the Pseudo second-order Kinetics |
