Desarrollo de un software educativo aplicando la metodología Kanban, para el aprendizaje de vocabulario básico de inglés

Software development is a complex process that involves effective management of resources and the correct organization of tasks in order to obtain a high quality product within a short timeframe. Due to its visual approach and as an effective methodology for project management, Kanban has become popular as a methodology for software development. Using the stages of the software development life cycle. Visualizing the workflow, limiting the work in progress and measuring the time spent are the rules of Kanban. “THE AIM OF THE PRESENT RESEARCH PROJECT IS AT DEVELOPING EDUCATIONAL SOFTWARE APPLYING THE KANBAN METHODOLOGY FOR LEARNING BASIC ENGLISH VOCABULARY”. This research was developed under the quantitative approach, bibliographic research and applied research. The data collection technique used was the survey and Likert scales were used to evaluate different questions, with the purpose of evaluating usability based on the ISO/IEC 25000 standard, the ease of learning criterion. Based on the results, it was found that the interface of the developed software is intuitive and easy to learn, which allowed the completion of the proposed tasks in a maximum time of 2 to 4 minutes, in the same way it was found that the software did not present any errors during its use. Finally, the research indicated that applying the Kanban methodology is beneficial in the development of software projects, therefore it allows to deliver a good quality product on time.
