Gaia:The aim of this study was to analyze the Autonomy in nursing care in patients with multiple trauma emergency service Provincial General Teaching Hospital Riobamba, the study is descriptive and analytical technique using data collected through surveys and observation guide, in a total population (16) Nursing professional. The results show that 100 % of nurses not using Autonomy to perform independent functions in the emergency service which influences nursing care in these patients , and it is noteworthy that do not meet minimum requirements necessary for work in this highly complex area , only 12.50 % have a master's care pursuant to the requirements for this area , 43.75 % rarely reviewed scientific literature of the subject studied , 50% of professionals have never received training assistance and management for the trauma patient also has 62.50% less than a year working on this service.
