| Sažetak: | The confinement of adolescents significantly affected their emotional stage since they felt fear, anxiety, fear, and boredom, among other things, because they could not leave their homes or share moments with their loved ones, and there was isolation, which left sequels such as instability. The objective is to determine the emotional state of the adolescents of the Basic Superior of the Educational Unit ¨, San Vicente de Paúl¨, after the confinement. It is important to emphasize that the variable analyzed is paramount within the educational and affective sphere since, in the future, it can negatively affect the school sphere since if the students do not feel emotionally well, they cannot perform optimally in their studies, which would lead to a school failure. The developed research had a quantitative approach with a non- experimental design of a primary type due to the level of descriptive scope, field location, transactional or cross-sectional study, the survey technique was used, and the instrument was a questionnaire. The sample was non-probabilistic and intentional and consisted of 33 students in the ninth year of Basic Superior of the Educational Unit ¨, San Vicente de Paúl¨, (12 men and 21 women). The results show that, although less than half of the students surveyed were emotionally affected in confinement, a significant number did present alterations in their emotional state. For this reason, it is recommended that teachers and parents work with adolescents with good communication and use tools that increase their self-esteem so that they feel emotionally stable since confinement has a significant effect. |
