| Тойм: | Mathematics is a very important science in the humanity scientific education, since it has allowed the development of science and technology. In their learning process, it is relevant to consider the teacher`s performance, in this regard, the methodology used plays a very important role. For this reason, the general objective of this work was to identify the different methodologies used by teachers in the area of Mathematics in the Millennium Educational Unit "Penipe", to establish the prevailing trend in that institution. The type of research was descriptive and field, with an exploratory research level, the research design was non-experimental because no variable was manipulated, the population considered were the 15 teachers of the area in question, the technique used, was the survey and the instrument applied was the questionnaire. According to the survey results, it was determined that a large number of teachers use the discovery methodology, followed by the traditional methodology and the cooperative methodology, based on the results it was recommended to use the teacher's pedagogical methodology in a flexible way. |
