| Zusammenfassung: | The study evaluated the flexural strength and color of ceromer versus nanohybrid resin with zirconium particles, both subjected to thermocycling. An in vitro, cross-sectional investigation was conducted quantitatively, utilizing a comparative experimental design. Data collection was performed through observation using a laboratory log. The sample consisted of 30 specimens measuring 14 mm in length, 2 mm in width, and 2 mm in thickness: 15 blocks of Ceramage-Shofu ceromer (GI) and 15 blocks of Forma-Ultradent nanohybrid resin (G2). Results indicated that the ceromer retained its initial B2 color after thermocycling, while the resin underwent color changes, with 33.3% shifting from D2 to Cl and 66.7% from D2 to B1. Regarding flexural strength, the resin showed an average of 190.925 MPa, with less variability than the ceromer, which had an average of 179.655 MPa and a coefficient of variation of 22.1%. Statistical analysis (ANOVA) revealed no significant differences in flexural strength between the two materials. However, the customer maintained its original color after simulating the oral environment for five years, emerging as the preferred option for indirect restorations due to its color stability despite the similarity in flexural strength. |
