Shrnutí:ABSTRACT The Judges, once their oral resolution is issued at the hearing, have the legal term of 10 days to notify the procedural parties with the written sentence as established by the General Organic Code of Processes (COGEP), in In this sense, there are occasions that, for various reasons, such as the complexity of the process, the workload, among other causes, this term is not enough for them to notify the parties with said ruling. Despite this, it has been shown that there is little regulatory development in terms of the legal figure of the reasonable term in civil matters, which becomes a problem for both administrators of justice and for defendants, since on the one hand there is compliance of procedural speed, but on the other hand there is the impossibility of complying with this term on certain occasions and even more so if they are resolutions of cases in second instance, since these become extensive and require more time for the Judge to analyze the process and pass a sentence. Faced with such a scenario, the law even provides sanctions for the Judges who fall into this breach, for this reason, the reasonable period of time in resolutions of civil matters is addressed, from various legal points of view, such as the path that remains for the administrators of justice, in the cases indicated above.
